The National Wine Centre (NWC) has received two prestigious awards at the Australian Hotel Association (AHA) SA Hotel Industry Awards for Excellence.
The Hackney Road centre won the Tourism and Regional Promotion Award and the Function Operation/Facility Specialist Division Award at a ceremony on Tuesday, July 29.
The AHA awards follow the Centre being named Australia’s Best Specialty Event Venue at the Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Industry Awards in May.
NWC General Manager Adrian Emeny said the recent accolades reflected the Centre’s commitment to exceptional customer service and to championing the Australian wine and tourism industries.
“The Centre is going from strength to strength this year and the latest awards are yet another string in the Centre’s bow,” Mr Emeny said.
The Centre is also a finalist in five categories for the upcoming Restaurant & Catering SA Awards. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 4.
Opened in 2001, the NWC is a showcase for wine tourism and a premier conference and events facility offering five-star services.
