NAB - CHRISTMAS CHEER 2014

The season of giving has inspired employees of the National Australia Bank to rally together and help South Australian families in need this Christmas.

Staff from across NAB’s Retail, Business and MLC divisions, have collected more than 2400 toys, gifts and non-perishable food items to donate to local charities.

In addition to staff donations, NAB invited customers and the community to get involved, with collection points were established in every NAB retail store, business centre and business unit across the state.

NAB Retail State General Manager Gregg Harris said the Christmas drive had been initiated by staff and supported by the state leadership team.

“We are proud of our people for developing this concept to support South Australian families in need at Christmas,” he said.

“In addition to the food and toy drive we are identifying opportunities for staff to volunteer time to these charities as part of the NAB Staff Volunteer Program.

“Our people play an important role in NAB’s fundraising activities and embrace the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to their local communities.

“It makes NAB a great place to work.”

The food and toy drive collected goods for Catherine House, St Vincent de Paul and Good Beginnings.
