Musical Theatre Production To Showcase Local Young Talent

South Australia’s best young talent on show in Pelican Production’s latest musical performance.

With seven kids from Pelican Productions making the cast of Gordon Frost’s London Palladium production of ‘The Sound of Music’ this year, it is no wonder their 13th annual ‘Music Theatre Camp’ this January is one of the hottest tickets in town – both as a performer and as a theatre goer.

Music Theatre Camp (MTC as it is affectionately known) is an intensive two week camp held in the January school holidays for performers aged 8 – 19 years with professional training in singing, dancing and acting. The camp culminates in the performance of a medley of stage shows, which is truly a wonder to behold.

Nearly 500 kids from over 120 schools will take part in Music Theatre Camp 2017 performance, ‘Everlasting’, culminating in a spectacular performance featuring songs from the multi Tony award winning musical Hamilton, Shrek, Grease, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Legally Blonde, Oliver and more!

Born from the desire to foster up and coming young talent in the Adelaide performing arts scene, thirteen years ago Directors of  Pelican Productions Jen Frith and Kylie Green conceived the idea of Music Theatre Camp.

Don’t miss Music Theatre Camp 2017 performance ‘Everlasting’, playing at Michael Murray Centre (Westminster College, Alison Avenue, Marion) from January 19 to 22.

Tickets are on sale now through Pelican Productions.  Adults $35, Concession $30 and Children $25.
