Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Runway Wrap Up

Get a very fashionable wrap up of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week

Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW) is all but done and dusted and we saw some of the trends and fashion that we can expect this Spring/Summer. With both established and emerging local designers, brands and retailers dazzling with their new season styles, the events’ program did not disappoint.

Glam Adelaide’s MSFW correspondent, Adriana Perri from Le Blonde Fox, gives a wrap up of some of her favourite runway shows from the event:

Spring Fashion Week was full of excitement – from its commencement with the VFNO (that is Vogue Fashion’s Night Out) in the heart of the city to the many different activities throughout the week; from pop up stalls to creating your own flat lays. Of course the runway shows were the highlight though, and these are my favourites…

David Jones Runway – Spring Racing
Spring racing.. It’s just not only about the race that stops the nation… but the outfit that stops the show! It’s all about having the right assemble on the right day!

Hosted by David Jones’s racing ambassador Emma Freedman and Emma Notarfrancesco who has just recently been appointed face of the 2015 Caulfield Cup Carnival, the runway gave us the rundown (pun intended) on each special Spring Carnival day.

Forever New has you covered from casual wear to formal wear. Splashes of colour ran through this runway along with casual relaxed european-style summer outfits.

Alannah Hill

Real life dolls, and absolutely beautiful pieces. Alannah Hill, as usual, is going super girly for Spring and Summer.

JACK LONDON

Edgy and cool, I felt I was back in the streets of London whilst watching this runway. I adored the colours along with the scarf belt accessory, which I think i’ll be doing this summer with my pants!
