Meet The Winemakers At Rigoni’s Pop Up This Thursday

Rigoni’s on Leigh Street will host a tasting this Thursday featuring some of the Barossa regions best independent and boutique winemakers.

There’s something about white table cloths that brings out the anarchist in all of us. How satisfying is it to watch a drop of red wine fall slowly from the bottle onto those pristine threads and slowly spread outwards?! It marks the sign of a good night to have two or three on your table by the time you finish a bottle. You can can tell that you’ve had some fun when the table isn’t clean anymore!

So this Thursday, it should be a really fun night at Rigoni‘s as they team up once again with Wine Wise Consulting to showcase some of the finest independent wineries of the Barossa Valley region. For only $20 you can try samples from 3 different local boutique wineries until your heart and your belly are content, with a prize draw to win a three pack of wines from the featured wineries, plus a $100 dollar Rigoni’s Dinner Voucher. Just try an keep those tablecloths clean!

Tina Kies (owner) and Joanne Irvine (winemaker) from Kies Family Wines Barossa Valley, David Lehmann (owner/winemaker) from David Franz Wines (Dave makes wines from Barossa/Eden Valleys and sometimes an Adelaide Hills) and Ali Spencer from Karrawatta Wines (Langhorne Creek and Adelaide Hills) will all be making the trip down for the event to talk about some of their new vintages that will be available to try on the night. There will be some light food on offer as well, just in case you’re worried about having an empty stomach as you taste.

You will also have access to direct sales at this pop up cellar door which will also mean cellar door prices (for those on the mailing list)!
