Major World Film Premieres At Adelaide Film Festival

Adelaide Film Festival, hosted by Palace Nova on Cinema Place, is where Australia’s first Muslim rom-com “Ali’s Wedding”, will be screened for the first time.

Everybody has told a white lie or two in their life; Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, saying your nose will grow if you tell a lie… but none of these lies have ever resulted in an arranged marriage…have they?

Well Osamah Sami’s has, and his new movie “Ali’s Wedding” brings to life the reality of what a white lie can lead to.

Adelaide Film Festival, Australia’s most dynamic screen event is hosted by Palace Nova on Cinema Place, where Australia’s first Muslim rom-com “Ali’s Wedding”, will be screened for the first time.

Walk the Aussie red carpet and meet the star Osamah Sami himself, amongst other Australian television icons including Don Hany from Offspring, and Rodney Afif from Rosehaven.

Here we were, thinking that Kim K’s wedding was short, but this romantic comedy details the arranged marriage that lasted only one hour and 48 minutes…

Bring friends or family, and splash back a glass of red, relax and enjoy these brilliant films, produced in your one and only Australia.

The red carpet event will be held on Friday 28th October. To find out more, visit the Adelaide Film Festival website, and purchase your tickets.
