10152659_627485403987214_1710329417218192765_nEight years ago, TV Presenter Troy Gray filmed his first adventure documentary, with all proceeds raised going to a selection of local charities. Since then, Troy has filmed a further 16 television documentaries, and has collected cinematography awards and international exposure along the way, with his greatest achievement being the $2.4 Million raised via these TV projects handed directly to Adelaide-based charitable organisations.

On the back of this success, Troy joined forces with experienced television producer Lisa Browne to launch Charity Adventure TV. This project now films adventure documentaries Australia wide, and as of this weekend, all Charity Adventure TV films will premiere nationally.

Troy Gray says, “This unique project is really special to me and there is nothing else quite like it. It’s a great way to put the fun back in to fundraising, as well as raising the profile of outstanding local charitable organisations.

“Not only do we take people out of their comfort zones and in to an environment full of fun, adventure and cameras, it’s also a great opportunity to provide South Australian’s with a unique way to see our great country, and experience it via an unforgettable journey,” says Troy Gray.

Charity Adventure TV supports a minimum of four charities annually, with the likes of Youthinc, Muscular Dystrophy Association SA and Deaf: Can Do being some of the beneficiaries.

‘Tasmania – The Island of Inspiration’ (hosted by Troy Gray and staring 12 inspirational South Aussies) will premiere this Saturday, 9th August 2014 on-

  • 7TWO – Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
  • Southern Cross Television – Darwin, Hobart, Launceston, Port Pirie, Port Lincoln, Broken Hill, Central Vast North and South East regions.
  • Golden West Network or Prime7 – Regional areas in Northern and Southern New South Wales, Victoria, Gold Coast and Western Australia.
