Live Music Pops Up In The Heart Of Hindley

Hindley St isn’t just for eating and drinking. Cafe/Wine Bar DEW will host a live music pop up this Friday night in collaboration with local music crew, Shopfront.

The working week is done with and the stress is literally melting from your shoulders as you sit back with a glass of vino (or beer if you prefer) with a couple of friends and kick back. That’s what Friday knock offs should be, and this week the heart of Hindley Street is offering something a bit different as the live music pop up crew from Shopfront make a surprise appearance at new cafe/wine bar DEW.

DEW has only been around since March but with a co working space out back and architects up stairs has nestled in nicely with the creative community in the area. That’s not to mention their incredible vegan desserts, outstanding coffee and endless wine racks. They’ve got their stuff sorted.

Adelaide chanteuse Sasha March will be backing up from her support alongside front man of The Beautiful Girls, Mat McHugh, on Thursday night for the occasion. If you’ve been to a Shopfront show before, their free shows look to highlight the best in Adelaide food and drink with music as the binding medium. After a debut run during April and May at Warehouse Cafe/Wine Bar Mama Jambo, this is a welcome return ahead of a run of matinee shows at The Adelaide Zoo as part of Umbrella: Winter City Sounds this July.

Get yourself a bottle of red, sit back and enjoy a laid back end to the week before you head on out into the night. You’ve earned it.
