Largest Tattoo Event Will Debut In Adelaide

Following the success in other states, the Australian Tattoo & Body Art Expo will expand its annual tour when over 150 incredible tattoo artists converge in Adelaide.

TatFollowing unprecedented success in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, the Australian Tattoo & Body Art Expo will expand its annual tour when over 150 incredible tattoo artists converge in Adelaide for the very first time from 15th to 17th August 2014.

Throughout the three-day event, a combination of Australian and international artists from across the globe including China, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore, will showcase their skills with live tattooing taking place for both pre-booked appointments and walk-ups at the event.

Rewarding the most impressive ink at the event will be daily tattoo contests. Renowned industry judges will select the very best tattoos across various categories including Portrait, Oriental, Sleeve, Black & Grey, Polynesian and the popular, Tattoo of the Day award.

The Australian Tattoo & Body Art Expo will roll out a jam-packed program of entertainment over the three days including a pin-up pageant presented by Stealth Photographics, saucy burlesque performances and airbrushing demonstrations.

In the lead up to the event, the Expo is calling for entries to its Girls of Ink competition. Adelaide tattooed beauties are encouraged to enter for a chance to win a share in a fantastic prize pool including a three-page spread in Inked Australia/NZ magazine.

Following the Adelaide event, the Australian Tattoo and Body Art Expo will continue its national tour to Melbourne from 5th to 7th December, Sydney from 13th to 15th March 2015 and for the very first time, Auckland in May.
