It’s for starters, probably the longest lunch you’ll ever go to. It’s fabulous! You and your gals will start off the day bright and early perusing Miss Gladys on Sea for the latest fashion and relax at Rosey’s Aldinga for morning tea, coffee and pastries.
From there you’ll be whisked off to McLaren Vale for a walk through of the Santos Tour Down Under start line for BikeExchange Stage 5. As the race gets set to kick-off, you’ll be seated at your VIP viewing platform, right smack bang on the starting line. You can’t get much closer than this ladies!
By then you should be ready for some bubbles and a gorgeous lunch at the Salopian Inn. Here you’ll be treated to a scrumptious lunch absolute trackside, while you and you girlfriends watch on as the race sweeps past six times before finishing at the top of the iconic Willunga Hill.
To wrap up your afternoon in the Hills, you’ll be shuttled back to the Hilton Adelaide to enjoy a cocktail in the Collins Bar overlooking the Adelaide City Council Tour Village.
If that wasn’t enough for you though, your posse can kick on at the Adelaide Convention Centre for the Legends’ Night Dinner. This gala event celebrates the best of the best in cycling: the athletes who ride into the record books and the machines that take them over the line.
