On August 1st, the inaugural Winter Feast for Youth Opportunities will be held at iconic Adelaide venue, Bonython Hall. Youth Opportunities uses this glamorous fundraising event to raise money which will go towards an early-intervention leadership program aimed at 15-17 year olds (year 10s) to help them learn how to make better choices. Veteran Australian Broadcaster Keith Conlon has now signed on to be the official MC at the Winter Feast gala, which will add a fantastic element to an already stellar line up of Adelaide faces supporting this great cause.

The aim of the evening is to encourage individuals, community groups, and businesses to support young South Australians in need by attending and participating in the event’s activities.

Keith Conlon is encouraging people to join him at the Feast “for a delightful evening of food and wine all whilst we acknowledge the importance of young people in our community and for South Australia’s future.”

Accompanied by local band The Bill Parton Trio, the evening will include a 5 course feast delivered by Stuart Oldfield of Handmade Catering using local artisan products. Award winning wines from Fox Creek Wines in McLaren Vale will also be matched to the feast.

Auctions, both live and silent will be lead on the night by Bernard Booth, South Australia’s leading Auctioneer – with the chance to win getaways to the Barossa, McLaren Vale, Port Fairy and New Zealand.

A Wine Wall Raffle will take place as well as the draw and announcement of the Parisian Luxury Lottery, which gives the chance to win return flights to Paris for two people and 6 nights’ accommodation in an opulent Paris apartment.

Youth Opportunities works with hundreds of disadvantaged and disengaged young people each year across metro and regional South Australia to ensure that they are given the chance to create a better future, regardless of their circumstances.

All funds raised from the Winter Feast will support the Youth Opportunities 10 week Personal Leadership Program which provides support and guidance to young people so they can make positive choices that will lead them towards happy and successful futures.

Winter Feast tickets are $150 and can be bought from http://www.youthopportunities.com.au/our-events/upcoming-events/Winter-Feast-2014/ or by contacting Denise Rowe at [email protected]
