Steeped in cutting edge product design, the Italian company is noted for its innovative use of materials and colour, and bold statement pieces, that are now available from its Frome Street store.

The new Kartell store is a collection of spaces and ‘experiences’. Designed to showcase a vast range of the brand and its products in different colours and finishes, the store was designed in Milan by Kartell’s design director, Ferruccio Laviani, and is one of 130 flagship stores worldwide.

New Kartell Adelaide Store2Kartell offers the customer a chance to purchase everything for the home from the smallest of items like a clock or coat hook, to a 2m dining table or Missoni covered modular sofa. Combining high fashion and timeless collector pieces, everything is designed to be used with ease and practicality. Investing in technology and designers like Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola and Piero Lissoni, has put the brand at the forefront of design.

Constantly developing creative partnerships with leading designers, one of the most recognized design icons of the 21st century, the Louis Ghost chair by Philippe Starck, is the result of Kartell’s collaboration with the iconic designer.

New Kartell Adelaide Store3Kartell approached the La Forgia family as the perfect choice to represent the brand in Adelaide. The La Forgia family has invested in bringing designer products to the Adelaide market for over 25 years. The family’s core business, Artemide at Norwood, has been a stronghold in lighting in the Adelaide market, offering only the best Italian designed and made lighting, furniture and accessories to their strong customer base.

Having an industry leader such as Kartell choose Adelaide for what is only the second store of its kind in Australia is a coup for the city. Kartell was the first to use transparent plastic in furniture and are the first to use the longest single span of  plastic in a piece of furniture. The range includes chairs, stools, sofas, tables, vases, trays, mirrors, lights and even shoes and handbags.
