Join The Sea Of Pink At Australia’s Largest Mother’s Day Event This Sunday!

Will you be one of the 10,000 at this year’s Mother’s Day Classic?

Mother’s Day is almost here and so is Australia’s largest Mother’s Day event and the nation’s largest fun run for breast cancer research, the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic.

Adelaide organisers are bracing for up to 10,000 volunteers and supporters to attend this year’s event full of entertaining and family-friendly fun! The event offers people of all ages the chance to participate in a non-competitive, inspiring fun walk/run that raises vital funds for breast cancer research.

Thousands of breast cancer survivors, people in the midst of their cancer journey as well as families and friends that walk in honour of a loved one come together to demonstrate a united front against the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, with 47 new diagnoses each day.

Adelaide’s Peace Park will become a sea of pink and provide the back drop for participants who will set foot along the Torrens Linear Park Route and through the picturesque Botanic Gardens before winding back along War Memorial Drive toward the finish line. Participants can choose to walk or run with a 4.3km or 7.2km option.

Since 1998 the Mother’s Day Classic has raised $27.4 million for research. Registrations are available on line at www.mothersdayclassic.com.au or on the day at the registration tent.
