Served up in more than 600 different shapes and sizes, pasta is one of the world’s most loved dishes and a common fixture on plates across Australia. Celebrating that fact is World Pasta Day, which is being held globally tomorrow, October 25th.
We’ve taken it as a sign from the gods that it’s time to DITCH THE LOW CARB DIET, at least for the weekend, and ENJOY some pasta completely guilt free.
Luckily for those of us who are a little more challenged in the kitchen, but think a good pasta is an important part of life, Jamie’s Italian Adelaide has something tasty on offer.
A relative newcomer to the South Australian restaurant scene, Jamie’s Italian has fast developed a reputation for providing diners with an authentic Italian experience, making its pasta fresh onsite daily.
“Much of Italian life revolves around the dinner table, with family and friends filling their stomachs with freshly made pasta and enjoying good wine,” said Jamie’s Italian Executive Chef, David Clarke.

Mr Clarke says Adelaide has a strong Italian culture and the city’s love for Italian food is apparent – and what better day to enjoy delicious dishes, like prawn linguine or wild boar and porcini lasagne, than World Pasta Day.
On 25 October, Jamie’s Italian will offer three of its most popular dishes at special prices for World Pasta Day. Entrée sizes of family favourites – prawn linguine, buffalo ricotta ravioli and truffle tagliatelle – will be available for $10, while main course portions will sell for $20 – providing diners with the perfect opportunity to share in Jamie Oliver’s passion for Italian flavours and produce.
