The brainchild of two young health-concious fathers, Wade Galea and James Marshall, Jack Greens aims to fill a gap in the market by providing nutritious and customised seasonal salads, grain bowls, soups, coffee and breakfast options on-the-run whilst giving back to the local community and environment.

The flagship store, at 36 Waymouth Street, is designed to help busy South Australians live better, healthier lives.

Passionate about the city and all that it has to offer, they’re committed to supporting the local community by purchasing local produce, striving for a zero carbon footprint and partnering with local charities that make a difference.

“We’re busy raising families and as working parents we know how hard it is to do it all, that includes staying healthy while on the run,” Wade said. “We wanted to create a place where busy people can come for breakfast and lunch and know that our menu is nutritious and delicious.”

Today, Thursday March 19, 11:30am-2:30pm, Jack Greens will be opening its doors with a “Pay as you Please” day – with all proceeds going to local charity Life Education, which helps to educate local school children about healthy eating habits.

Other launch partners also include Monastery Coffee, an Adelaide-based roaster, who share a common passion for ethically traded and produced goods.
