Gorgeous girl about town, Casey Saint, was today named the inaugural Face of Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup during the delivery of the Cup trophy, by horse, to Adelaide Casino for public display until Sunday 4 March.
Casey joined Adelaide Casino General Manager, David Christian, who was delivered the trophy by South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) Chief Executive Brenton Wilkinson and racing identities John Letts and Clare Lindop.
Mr Christian said the Casino was a proud supporter of the Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup because it was one of South Australia’s premier sporting events.
“Adelaide Casino is committed to bringing world class entertainment to Adelaide and our long standing support of the Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup is key in helping us to deliver on this,” Mr Christian said.
“We are now in our sixth year as naming rights sponsor and this year we are particularly pleased to introduce Casey as the inaugural Face of Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup.”
The competition to find the new ‘Face of Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup’ was launched in early February and saw a number of South Australia’s hottest young talent post videos to the competition’s Facebook page about ‘their Adelaide and why they loved it’.
Casey was selected from a competitive pool of entrants by a panel of judges featuring Adelaide Casino Marketing Manager Verity Moreland, fashion designer Liza Emanuele and owner of Glam Adelaide news website Kelly Noble.
“While the field of entrants was extremely strong, Casey was the stand out choice as the ‘eyes and ears’ of Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup,” Ms Moreland said.
“She presented herself with poise and confidence and has already carved out a strong career for herself as a successful model, so she knows how to handle media attention.”
As the official ‘Face of Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup’, Casey will blog, Facebook and Tweet all the latest Cup-related action both on and off track in the lead up to and on race-day.
