Family owned and operated GoodLife Pizza by brothers Jake and Marty Greenrod, the pair thrives on the philosophy that if you have good food, good wine and good friends, you’re in for a GoodLife.
Having invented the world’s first carbon neutral pizza in 2003, GoodLife Pizza has come a long way.
Jake Greenrod says, “When we first opened our Hutt Street restaurant over ten years ago, organic food wasn’t the most common food movement. But over time, people started taking notice, and now the world understands the delicious benefits of organic food, and we are pleased to create mouth-watering pizza that possess bursts of flavour purely as Mother Nature intended.”
GoodLife Pizza’s famous menu includes signature gourmet pizzas such as the Hahndorf Spicy Salami and the Barossa Valley Double Bacon, but is constantly evolving with special additions in response to seasons and trends.
This August, GoodLife Pizza celebrates truffle season with ‘The Luxe’ pizza, featuring Tasmanian black truffles (also known as Ascomycete fungus), organic potatoes, aioli and truffle oil.
Marco Marinelli, also known as ‘The Mushroom Man,’ supplies GoodLife Pizza with only the finest quality truffles, and is renowned as an expert in the mushroom industry thanks to his experience, passion and enthusiasm.
GoodLife Pizza is also shaking things up with the birth of McMurtrie Road Wines. Starting two years ago, the idea has now become a reality with the release of Happy Days and soon to be released Reincarnation Red.
“Creating our own wine seemed like a natural progression for the GoodLife philosophy, especially as the wine is hand made on our two-acre vineyard in McLaren Vale,” says Jake Greenrod.
With three restaurants located in the Adelaide CBD, North Adelaide and Glenelg, GoodLife Pizza is renowned for its classic and innovative food and beverage offerings.
