A surge in demand for cleaner and healthier eating choices has prompted Unley business, Caffe Paparazzi, to develop a clean eating menu option in consultation with leading Osteopath and health guru, Dr Andrea Robertson.

The idea arose last year when Andrea and Mirella Morizzi-Tambakis – who co-owns Caffe Paparazzi with husband Michael – met as finalists in the SA Telstra Business Women’s Awards. They immediately ‘connected’ and a lasting friendship soon developed, culminating in the two women joining forces in the new business venture.

Combining their passion and talent for food and nutrition – Andrea is one of the country’s leading osteopaths, wellness coaches and health gurus; Mirella a multi-award-winning professional development trainer and hospitality expert – the pair will officially unveil their Clean Eating Menu at the Unley Road restaurant on March 10, to coincide with the launch of Andrea’s new book, The Nutrition Detective Solution.

The ‘labour of love’ project took months to develop and perfect and will feature meals from breakfast through to dinner, all taken from Andrea’s book.  The menu options all represent 100% clean eating, free of preservatives, gluten, processed sugar and cow’s dairy. A full range of smoothies is also on offer, along with dishes such as Chia Pudding, a No Bun Burger and a treat appropriately named ‘I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter Chicken’. For those with a sweet tooth, there’s a non-sugar Lime and Kiwi Cashew Cheesecake.

Mirella said the new menu would meet demand from clients seeking healthier and cleaner choices, while others could still enjoy classical Italian dishes from their main menu.

“It is such an honour and a coup to have someone of Andrea’s calibre design such a delicious and healthy clean eating menu to stand alongside our existing offerings,” she said.

“We have spent months testing and perfecting the menu and are thrilled with the feedback from our taste testers, all of whom describe the dishes as sensational.”

Mirella’s thoughts are echoed by Andrea, who said ‘clean eating’ was becoming more mainstream and popular across Australia and gaining serious momentum in Adelaide.

“This menu is very close to my heart as it’s the kind of food that I eat every day. It will make you feel great on the inside and out,” Andrea said.

“I have loved working with Mirella and Michael in developing this menu for their iconic Caffe Paparazzi and can’t wait for the people of South Australia to enjoy it.”

Professional dancer and osteopath Andrea Robertson established Southside Osteopathy in Adelaide in January 2008.  From a sole-practitioner renting a single room in a multi-disciplinary clinic in Wayville, she has grown the business to the point where it employs some 30 staff and includes the Xtend Barre Southside and Xtend Barre Eastside practices in Unley and St Morris respectively.

Andrea is also a respected author, her latest book The Nutrition Detective Solution, 80 Days to Vitality, already resonating with those seeking a positive change to their lifestyle. Mirella, in turn, is the Executive Manager at nationally registered training organisation, Training Innovation – Management & Enterprise (T.I.M.E) and widely recognised as one of the country’s foremost figures in professional development. She also owns Caffe Paparazzi with her husband Michael.
