On the back of their new album ‘Jukebox ’, the talented foursome will visit Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Sydney, performing an eclectic mix of great feel-good vocal songs from the 50s and 60s. Music that has always been their inspiration and now brought to sonic life by Human Nature, thanks to the collaborative producer efforts of Dave Pierce & the legendary Bob Rock on their new album. This collaboration alone makes ‘Jukebox ’ one of the must-have albums of 2014.

The release of ‘Jukebox ’ coincides with Human Nature’s upcoming 25th  anniversary since forming in high school in their home city of Sydney. ‘The Jukebox Tour – A 25th Anniversary Celebration’  will also feature performances from all the albums Human Nature have released over their 20-year recording career with Sony Music Australia. Fans can expect a big night of music and dancing with the incredible Human Nature 7-piece band and string players joining them on stage. This is one trip down memory lane that fans will not want to miss!

Forming in 1989, the band fell in love with what they had started. Performing classic doo-wop and soul infused harmonies, the milestone of 25 years, as a band is simply a testament to the incredible musical bond Human Nature formed all those years ago. The ‘Jukebox’  album and tour is not only their personal tribute to some of the music that made them who they are, but to mark a quarter of century of musical triumph and grandeur.

Currently in residency at The Venetian hotel in their adopted home of Las Vegas, Human Nature will take time out of their busy American schedule to return back to their beloved home and perform for their loyal Australian fans.

“We are thrilled to be coming back home! There is nothing better than coming home and performing for our Aussie fans. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today. It’s such a privilege to do what we do and coming home, even for such a short time really puts everything into perspective. After 25 years, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come,”  says Andrew.

‘The Jukebox Tour – A 25th Anniversary Celebration’  will see Human Nature take fans on a nostalgic journey back to the glory days of popular music, performing huge feel-good hits such as ‘Will You Love Me Tomorrow’ , ‘Under The Boardwalk’, ‘Unchained Melody’, ‘Twist and Shout’  and ‘Runaround Sue’.

“This tour really highlights our true origins. We wanted to show exactly what our inspirations were and how we became the band we are today. One of the highlights to look out for will certainly be our own “back to the future” moment, performing ‘Earth Angel’ just the four of us singing around the one microphone in four-part harmony just like we did 25 years ago ”, explains Toby.

The concept behind ‘Jukebox’  started long before Human Nature set the big stage alight at home and in Las Vegas. In 1989, four teenage schoolmates from Sydney heard the classic hit ‘Earth Angel’  by Marvin Berry and The

Starlighters in the classic film ‘Back To The Future’ and from there a passion was ignited. This one song, now featured on ‘Jukebox’ , stirred something very special inside the four boys. It was right then that they knew they had to start their own vocal group. Beginning their career as The 4 Trax, the two brothers and their best mates began a journey that would set their place in Australian music history.

Since signing to Sony Music in 1995, Human Nature, consisting of brothers Andrew and Michael Tierney, Phil Burton and Toby Allen, has produced five number 1 albums in Australia. Incredibly, they have also achieved 24 platinum awards, 18 top 40 hits in Australia and five top 10 hits worldwide. They have also won an ARIA  Award for the highest-selling Australian album of the year for their Motown Record  in 2005. The same album reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Heat Seekers chart.

A quarter of a century on and Human Nature continue to live their dream as one of Australia’s greatest musical success stories. See them in Australia as they perform the ultimate show featuring songs from their new album ‘Jukebox’  and all their hits.
