High Profile Guest Speakers Confirmed For Torrens University Australia’s Cinema Talk Series in January 2015

Designed to showcase the cutting edge and creative benefits of studying at Australia’s newest comprehensive university, Torrens University Australia will be hosting a Cinema Talk Series in Adelaide this summer, including presentations by high profile guest speakers – Mr Tim Pearce, Managing Director of Frame Creative and Dr Maria Wallis, Programme Director for the Bachelor of Media Design at Torrens’ sister school, Media Design School Auckland.

Designed to showcase the cutting edge and creative benefits of studying at Australia’s newest comprehensive university, Torrens University Australia will be hosting a Cinema Talk Series in Adelaide this summer, including presentations by high profile guest speakers – Mr Tim Pearce, Managing Director of Frame Creative and Dr Maria Wallis, Programme Director for the Bachelor of Media Design at Torrens’ sister school, Media Design School Auckland.

The Cinema Talk Series has been developed to celebrate Torrens University Australia’s undergraduate programs including the Bachelor of Commerce and newly launched Bachelor of Media Design – developed in conjunction with New Zealand’s award winning and internationally acclaimed Media Design School, and Bachelor of Applied Public Health.

Employability outcomes and unique educational experiences are core to Torrens’ undergraduate programs, which include a guaranteed integrated international learning experience, industry placements and real-world projects. The Cinema Talk Series, which includes films that graduates from Torrens’ sister school – Media Design School, New Zealand – have worked on as well as presentations by industry leaders, assists in showcasing this.
