Guy Sebastian To Headline Free Concert This Saturday For TDU

Homegrown talent, Guy Sebastian, has teamed up with the TDU to deliver us a massive opening night party!

In today’s most exciting breaking news, Adelaide’s own superstar, Guy Sebastian, will be headlining a free concert this weekend for the Team Presentation Concert at the Adelaide Tour Village in Victoria Square!

As we all remember Guy Sebastian shot to fame in Australia in 2003 when he robbed Shannon Noll of the title of 1st ever Australian Idol (some people might remember this differently).

He’s represented us from Idol to Eurovision, and now, he’s returning home to sing at Adelaide’s biggest sporting event of the year!

With the Santos Tour Down Under celebrating its 20th year, this is bound to be a massive race and a massive night at the official opening of the Santos Tour Down Under. The opening will take place on Saturday 13 January in the City of Adelaide Tour Village in Victoria Square. (With the aforementioned Guy Sebastian).

The action-packed nine-day event will put South Australia on show to the world as the biggest cycling names battle it out through the city, suburbs and some of the State’s most picturesque vineyards, hills and seaside towns.

Teams from all around the world have arrived in Adelaide and are already hitting the roads as part of their training, including superstars Peter Sagan, Andre Greipel, Richie Porte and Caleb Ewan. The action begins this Thursday with the newly upgraded UCI 2.1 classification Santos Women’s Tour Down Under, which will see elite international and Australian female cyclists battle it out across four exciting stages.

So, Adelaide, best get on your bikes and head to Vic Square for the opening of the 2018 Tour Down Under. For now, we’ll just leave you with this:

The Team Presentation & Free Concert will be held on Saturday 13 January 2018. Team Presentations will be at 6:30 pm and the concert will kick off at 8:30 pm.
