Groovin The Moo South Australian Show Moooves To A New Venue

A brand spanking new date and venue has been announced for this year’s Groovin The Moo festival.

This April, Groovin The Moo will be heading to the stunning state of South Australia for the 4th year running. However, this year there are a few changes! Not only are we thrilled to be kicking off the 2017 tour in South Australia on the new date of Friday 28th April, we’re also mooooving GTM to a new location, allowing the festival to be even more accessible to the wider South Australian community.

GTM’s new South Australian home is Wayville’s Adelaide Showground, a location that has a rich agricultural history showcasing all that the state has to offer. The new site is very easily accessible by multiple transport methods – planes, trains and automobiles! In addition, there are trams, buses, car convoys and road trips with your mates, plus the Showground has its very own train station. With so many options, we’re encouraging people from all over South Australia to make their way to Wayville for a long weekend of moo-hem.

Having established solid relationships with the Adelaide Hills and Oakbank communities, GTM will continue to support the local businesses and residents, welcoming back food and beverage providers including Udder Delights and Pirate Life, to name a few. GTM will also welcome new partners and food and beverage providers from all over the state. To ensure the new home of GTM is as easy as possible to get to for those loyal customers who are local to the Adelaide Hills area, the GTM team will be offering a free return shuttle bus service to the Adelaide Showground.

Stephen Halpin of Cattleyard Promotions said;
“The change of venue allows us to bring regional South Australia to Wayville. With multiple transport options, the location is easily accessible and we look forward to hosting patrons from all over the state.”

Kicking off the tour on Friday 28th April not only means that “crow-eaters” can have their own special GTM long weekend, it also allows the festival to avoid artist schedule clashes with other international events, resulting in a diverse and exciting line up for all GTM shows. The GTM team is creating a bunch of parties to make the most of the special long weekend – more info on those coming soon!

You can start the festivities early by joining us for our South Australian GTM Hottest 100 Party at The Alma Tavern in Norwood next Thursday 26th January. There are 100 tickets to GTM Wayville to be won! Check out the event page for more details.

For those keen GTMers who purchased tickets to Oakbank in the Christmas Presale, don’t stress! Your tickets will be reissued from moshtix with the new venue details in early February.
