Good Food Wine ShowCome and discover Adelaide’s Good Food & Wine Show on the 8th to 10th of October 2010, at the Adelaide Event and Exhibition Centre Wayville. Immerse your tastebuds in thousands of different tastes, products, flavours and techniques from hundreds of different exhibitors.

Described as Australia’s biggest gourmet deli, highlights of the program include seeing your favourite celebrity chef appearing live in the Celebrity Theatre along with demonstrations and book signings throughout the show. It also includes tasting new dishes by renowned chefs such as George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan (from TV’s Masterchef), and Manu Fieldel (TV’s Ready Steady Cook).

Satisfy your tastebuds in the Cheese Matters Masterclass or the scrumptious recipes in the Gourmet Garden Cooking School, as well as delicious wine-tasting sessions in the Riedel Decanter Bar.

More informative than reading a cook book, more useful than watching your best friend attack a chopping board, the Celebrity Theatre is real chefs cooking real food without edits or re-shoots. You’ll get to see the whole process – all short cuts and tricks of the trade.

To see a Celebrity Theatre session, purchase tickets through Ticketek. Tickets for each session are also available on the day from the Box Office located next to the Celebrity Theatre (tickets are free but limited).

How do I see another celebrity chef?

A reserved seat in a Celebrity Theatre session is included in your pre-purchased ticket price. If you wish to see another chef visit the Celebrity Theatre Box Office inside the Show and request a ticket to the session of your choice. Please note entry into additional sessions is subject to availability.

Gary Mehigan & George Calombaris – Your Place or Mine
Gary & George have been friends for years, they love food in all its glory, can spin a yarn with the best of them and have a quirky sense of humour that has made this pair great entertainers. Join G & G for a slice of the good life and more than a few good stories. Be the first to experience their stunning new book “Your Place or Mine” when the boys cook up a storm. “Chop Chop” and book your tickets now!

Janella Purcell – Janella’s Healthy Food Experience
Janella has years of experience and loads of tips on how to make food taste good and be good for you. In this session, Janella will show you how easy is it to put meals together, whilst explaining how to use some not so common ingredients, and their value in a healthy diet. This informative and fun show shouldn’t be missed by anyone who’s interested in learning more about nutritious and yummy food!

Manu Feildel – Spinning Plates
He is the fun, feisty, fancy Frenchman from My Kitchen Rules, now see him juggling his culinary skills with his circus skills. Can Manu manage to spin the dishes in the kitchen at the same time as spinning the plates or will he drop the juggling balls!

Matt Moran – Matt’s Favourite Things
You can take the boy out the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy! Well known for his love of the land and with lamb fresh from the farm, be prepared for a mini lamb masterclass and learn the tricks of Matt’s lamb roast . Fresh from his stint on Masterchef, join Matt Moran as he prepares some of his “favourite things”.

Tobie Puttock and Matt Skinner – Back to the Future
Join Tobie and Matt as they take you on a journey through their career’s. In the show Tobie will demonstrate three recipe’s spanning over two decades while Matt matches each with the perfect wine.
