Glenelg Cafe Favourite Adds New Adelaide Location

Glenelg destination The Organik Store & Cafe have just completed an incredible 4 week turn around on a new Adelaide location which opens today on Pirie Street.

The rate of change in the Adelaide CBD is a bit like watching a kid with a hundred thousand lego blocks just go to town for the afternoon. It seems that our city is being re-imagined so quickly. For the most part, the benefactors are those who like coffee, wine and delicious food. That’s all of us, right?

Well, 4 weeks ago the crew from Glenelg mainstay The Organik Store & Cafe, found a city location. Just 4 weeks to clean out the remnants of the old tenants, create an entirely new fit out, to get in all new stock, hire staff and get the word out. When you’ve left the lawn to grow beyond shin high over 4 weeks or perhaps you’ve left a pile of clothing on the ground from that length of time, it begs the question what sort of a work ethic do owner Lee Michaels and her crew have? And where can we find one? They’re beyond mere mortals!

Starting today, their residence in the Adelaide CBD will begin at 131 Pirie Street. Their offering sticks to their core principle to deliver the best organic produce both fresh and packaged goods. Breakfast, Brunch, Soul Food, Vegan and Vegetarian are all on the cards, as well as take home grocery specialties for you to duck out and grab during your lunch break. This is no ordinary cafe either, these are chef prepared creations, fresh and full of flavour that you can also grab on the go if you’re the busy sort and like to brag around the office about what you’re having.
