0

Well all we can say is thank god we had an extra day in February, because with what is in store in our fair town this month, we most certainly needed it. Mad March has commenced and we are nearing the last of the silliest season! And Summer may technically be over but the weather down here in SA is still stunning and there are still plenty (like PLENTY) of things to keep you busy. So get out your calendars, here it goes…

Until March 14- Adelaide Fringe It’s still on folks! It means the city is buzzing with excitement. What other event means you can have absolutely world class acts, right here on your doorstep for a truly minimal cost? Check the Fringe’s weekly awards to see what’s hot right now… or check our Adelaide Fringe section for Glam reviews. Also kicking on while Fringe is around, Goodnight Moon Bar. This is a pop up bar for all the late night party lovers (read more in our story here).

March 1- Maggie Beer’s Autumn Harvest Recipes Launch at the Market SA food goddess Maggie Beer is bringing us another delicious cookbook so that we mere mortals can ATTEMPT to match her cooking prowess. And, what’s more, you can meet the main lady for the launch at one of our fave foodie locations, Adelaide Central Market today! Quick quick.

March 1- World Famous Rooftop with The Rubens These guys are so hot right now. Their smash track ‘Hoops’ was voted numero uno on Triple J’s Hottest 100. Which pretty much means it’s the Australian anthem for the next 12 months right? Anyway, come see them play it live FOR FREE on Nova’s world famous rooftop. Get in early, this will hit capacity quick!

March 1-14 – An Alternative Wine Series 2KW wants you to experience some new pleasures. Which would involve all of the wine. Obviously! This is your chance to experience some really different wines that you might not normally get to try, as they offer them up by the glass. We have got our eye on the “Not The Usual Reds” section…

March 3-6 – Clipsal 500 Zoom zoom. It’s back again. The event that gets us all revved up (sometimes due to the road closures) but nevertheless a favourite in the annual Adelaide calendar. We can’t get enough of those four wheels zipping around the tracks and relaxing on the Nova Deck. Then you get to stick around for amazing concerts afterwards. We’re hoping to befriend Rob Thomas on Sunday… we’ll keep you posted on how that goes…

March 3- RCC Fitness In The City Is there anything more Royal Croquet Club can bring us? After great acts, brilliant shows and amazing food and drink (check out our story here) they’re now bringing us fitness too! Probably so we don’t feel so bad about how much of their food we’ve consumed in the past few weeks. Anyway, come along for FREE yoga and HIIT classes. Make sure you book though!

March 4- Waymouth Street Party 2016 This event has been running for the past four years and is always a blast. March 4- Uncorked with Wirra Wirra Uncorked is always a great way to spend your Friday knock off drinks. They had us at ‘complimentary cheese platters’. Plus it’s also free to enter

March 4- Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Riesling Harvest Want to see harvest in full swing? Well then get to the stunning Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard and see them harvesting their Riesling grapes which just so happen to be right in front of the cellar door. It’s also the most common cancer in young people in Australia. That’s pretty shocking. Glam’s Hannah is joining the amazing team at The Own It Project to take part. So why not join her? Or you can donate to this brilliant cause here.
