We have got you sorted…

One of the year’s best wine events is back for 2016, and once again urging you to Play It Cool. It’s a weekend filled with unique experiences, fabulous food and, of course, WINE! With so many wonderful happenings across the course of the Crush Festival 2016 weekend it’s hard to know where to park yourself. We’ve lined up our fave events on each of the days, and all the info you need to know from how to get there and when in our 2016 Crush Guide.

Friday 22 January

Bar a Vin at ArtWine Estate. 5pm-8.30pm. A glorious European wine bar serving up wines by the glass and canapes while you watch the sunset. The perfect way to end your working week, and kickstart all the Crush Festival fun.

3 Days of Cool at Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard. 11am-9pm. Enjoy twilight drinks and tapas on the decks of this fabulous location. The restuarant here is simply to die for so we cannot wait for this one.

Saturday 23 January

Grease Under the Stars at Tomich Wines. – Grease is the word! This great event is not only a starlit outdoor cinema, showing one of the GREATEST movies of all time, but it also encourages families and vintage/retro car collectors to pack a picnic rug and put the kids in the car too. Any vintage/retro cars that attend the event will be eligible to win best car on show, so get that baby out of the garage.

Sunday 24 January

Mexican Fiesta at Howard Vineyards.10am-6pm. Ole! This will be a cracker. With incredible Mexican treats (we’re talking more than just nachos) from Kitchen Catering by Sam that you can wash down with great wine and sangria, of course. Ay caramba! So don your sombrero and get ready to salsa with live music too. If you’d like there is an all inclusive ticket with city bar Jack Ruby that includes a delicious breakfast burger at Jack Ruby, your first drink at Jack Ruby and a bus to Sidewood Winery and Howard Vineyard, a glass of wine on arrival at Howards and your return bus to Jack Ruby at approximately 5.30pm, where the evening continues with a party! Sounds like a win, win, win to us. Tickets to the Jack Ruby bus here.

Sip of Summer on The Deck at Adelaide Hills Convention Centre. 11am-late. The newest venue on the Crush scene! Vino and more from SC Pannell, d’Arenberg, Hills Cider Co and Karrawatta all come together in this gorgeous cluster event. Kick back on the lounges with live music, DJs ’till late, gourmet food tents, and of course all those aformentioned beverages. All conveniently located along the Crush Hahndorf Shuttle Loop.

The Piece Project 2016 at Longview Vineyard. 12pm-7pm. Glam attended this brilliant Crush event last year and loved every second. Not only are there 10 brilliant wines, live DJs and food to snack on, but it’s the only winery that you’ll find a live street art competition going on! Your vote on the best piece, that you watch unfolding on the day, will be selected to don the following year’s wine bottles. How cool is that!? This one’s a treat for all the senses.

Long Table Lunch at Shaw + Smith. 11am-4pm. An event highlight, undoubtedly. This year’s theme is a divine Thai Street food table. The fabulous feast will be cooked up by the geniuses from Soi.38 restaurant in the city, and all courses matched with Shaw and Smith wines, of course. They’ll even be pulling out some of the museum releases! But get in early next year because this bad boy is already sold out!
