Get Up Close And Personal With The Australian Dance Theatre

Have you always wanted to know what it takes to be a dancer with the Australian Dance Theatre? Well don’t miss this up close and personal experience in Victoria Square…

The free Australian Dance Theatre Adelaide Embedded event will showcase a day in the life of a dancer.

You will be treated to ADT dancers performing excerpts from new works, participating in the Company Class taught by guest lecturer, Artistic Director and choreographer Lee Brummer from Il Dance, practicing the fine art of tumbling and much more.

Plus you will also be able to meet the dancers and observe their techniques, strength and process and have a greater understanding about what it takes to become a dancer with the ADT.

Times:

12.00pm – 2.00pm – Company class and tumbling rehearsals

4.00pm – 6.30pm – Repertoire rehearsals including an excerpt showing of Garry Stewart’s The Beginning of Nature

6.30pm – 7.30pm – ADT Youth Ensemble rehearsals including a performance by independent choreographer Katrina Lazaroff
