The upstairs of La Boheme can be a little claustrophobic when there is no air conditioning, But Claire Healy’s witty interaction with the audience did tend to take their mind off it. Claire shares everything from her shopping habits – there is a song about Aldi – to her ill-fated engagement in original songs laced with whimsy.

There is lots of reference to Lord of the Rings characters, drawing similarities with Frodo and Sam, and just a little venom to add spice.

This consummate performer has travelled the world regaling audiences and getting them to not only listen to her secret information, but also laughingly share their own. Her easy manner captivates the crowd and she has them singing along and joining in her drinking game (without drinks).

No hard thinking here, no need to strain to understand, just a fun little cabaret show which will send you out smiling.
