Alice is coming to GLUTTONY at the ADELAIDE FRINGE to lay open the cutthroat corporate world, and let the light shine in.

Alice Fraser was all set to be a winner – but why did winning feel so much like losing everything? Alumna of the prestigious Cambridge Footlights and New York’s comedy scene, she is charming, disarming, banjo playing and brutally honest by turns, which makes Everyone’s A Winner an enlightening, eclectic and left field hour of comedy.

Alice’s shows are a guaranteed hot ticket. Her debut shows sold out at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy festival. Her last show, Word Crime was also nominated as one of the FRESH acts of the Sydney festival, and she was nominated for Best Newcomer of the SCF 2013.

Fraser plays with language to make complicated ideas beautifully simple, dissecting the things we take for granted. A sharp and analytical mind turns Fraser’s sweet smile and singing voice into comedy tools that deliver surreal and engaging ideas deep into your brain.

She writes for SBS comedy, has debated against Julian Assange and appeared on Channel 9 Mornings with Peter Berner and Greg Fleet. She’s featured in last year’s Tropfest, and has played to underground bars in Syria.

If you love words or delight in razor edged and surreal analysis of the world you will love Alice Fraser. Her stage presence is bright and confident and her skillful joke-writing spins out into a keen sense of both the real and the absurd.
