#FreshFashionFridays at the Hotel Richmond is back again on June 5th (to kick off the long weekend!) and is jam packed with surprises and goodies. This month it will feature three designers, with one parading menswear.
The next instalment of the Hotel Richmond’s series of fashion parades will focus on showcasing new talent in the fashion and beauty industries.
The monthly parades that have in the past featured the work of two designers who are newcomers to Adelaide’s scene, will have a bit of a twist this month because three designers will have the opportunity to parade. Not only do event goers get an extra parade, they will get a taste of men’s street wear as local label Fool’s & Trolls, will be parading their work.
David Court, the brainchild behind Fool’s & Trolls, has been hauled up in his shop Created Range in the Regent Arcade, just off Rundle Mall. He hasn’t been sitting on his hands though, keeping his shop stocked to the nines with his and other local menswear lines.
As well as Fools & Trolls, Sophia McMahon from Atlas the Label, who has been making waves with her monochromatic designs, and dressmaker Danica Ryan from Revoque, have stepped up to fill the bill of talented designers for June.
All designers will be available for orders on the night. Also lending their skills and expertise will be models from FTM Model Management, Hung Tran & the team from Blow it’s a Hair Thing and Inglot Cosmetics Australia.
‘It’s an opportunity for designers to showcase their winter range’ said Georgia Palmer of Georgia Guy Designs, who paraded her work at the May edition of #FreshFashionFridays.
The Hotel Richmond have also teamed up with UBER to give the fashionista in all of us a free ride of up to $30 to get to the event. Uber users can use the code word FFFJUNE to get their $30 credit when booking their ride. Just download the free app on your phone.
A meeting of fresh ideas and winter trends, the event kicks off at 7pm and is a great way to welcome the long weekend, as Hotel Richmond will be launching their winter cocktail range with cocktail specials on the night. Other goodies will come from the goody bags on the night.
