French Cabaret Dazzle Returns To Adelaide

Following sell-out success in Adelaide in 2015 the burlesque extravaganza, Cabaret de Paris is returning to Her Majesty’s Theatre for three performances only.

Following sell-out success in Adelaide in 2015 the burlesque extravaganza, Cabaret de Paris is returning to Her Majesty’s Theatre for three performances only on 29 July at 8.00pm and 30 July at 2.00pm and 8.00pm.
Featuring Australian-born and trained showgirl Marissa Burgess, the longest serving star in the Moulin Rouge’s120-year history, Cabaret de Paris includes all the magic of a lavish French cabaret show with gorgeous dancers, beguiling music, and an array of international guest artists including aerialists, pole dancers, illusionists and of course the famous French cancan dancers!
The fifteen member Cabaret de Paris cast features the crème de la crème of showgirls from around the world; dancers who have graced the stages of France’s most famous cabaret revues.
The show’s line-up includes Spanish-born mime, singer, dancer and trampolinist Duban Nickol; Angela andCyriaque Kinkingnehun the dynamic former Adagio Couple from The Lido performing as Mysteriaque, combining magic illusions, acrobatic lifts and dance.
Acclaimed illusionist and Australia’s Got Talent finalist Michael Boyd will perform some of the world’s greatest illusions, mind-boggling disappearances and magic.
The show features more than a quarter of a million dollars worth of lavish costumes crafted in traditional Paris style with feathers, sequins, rhinestones and jewels (some covering barely anything).

Cabaret De Paris is choreographed by one of Australia’s dance leaders, Adelaide-born Todd Patrick, who began his formidable career with Disney and then Versace, Dior, Issey Miyaki, Gucci and Chanel across Europe and Asia. As a dancer Todd worked internationally, one of the highlights being as the principal in The Lido in Paris.
