The common thread that that connects these four artists, Briana Lawrence, Hang Ong, Iris Sautelle, and Steve Cox, is the expression of concern for, and the celebration of, our environment and human love. Within a small intimate space lies contrasting dynamics of thought provoking art, beautifully exhibited and avoiding over crowding.

Briana Lawrence, through her jewellery, speaks of elegance, love, peace, hope and more, culminating in the design orientated Blossoming Brooch which has a caption, like most of her pieces, in this case being “Strength in the face of adversity”. Lawrence extends each work with another layer of meaning, which propels the audience to journey beyond the beauty of the presented image.

Hang Ong presents us with beautiful meandering line work, representing flowers with subtle washes and using the eraser cleverly to give depth to the work.

Iris Sautelle uses delicate graphite and lead pencil to enhance the portrait and make a connection with the environment and the human life.

Steve Cox’s powerful black and white digital print is an absorbing image which clearly depicts humankind’s responsibility to our environment and life around us. The outstretched arms are telling us that we hold the balance, we are responsible.

This is a thought provoking exhibition with very affordable prices!
