Flame Throwing, Tire Shredding and High Octane Action

For the first time ever, The Supaloc Targa Adelaide Rally will be hosting a new stadium-type event on the internal roads within the Adelaide Showgrounds.

It's been a long time since South Australia has seen a form of night car racing and the Intercontinental Targa Night Stage is guaranteed to be an exciting event to kick-start the four day Supaloc Targa Adelaide Rally, running from 23 – 26 August.

The night stage will see over 150 classic to modern cars racing to secure their position in the start order for the Supaloc Targa Adelaide Rally. Competition cars will be pushing themselves to the maximum on the track, with limited prior practice, aiming to qualify for normal circuit racing.

Flame throwing, tire shredding Lamborghinis along with classic V8 Aussie muscle cars and a diverse range of collectable vehicles will also be providing high octane action throughout the night. After the on-track action, there will be an exhibition of over 110 vehicles in the Classic Car Display. Plus, over 50 competition cars from the Sporting Car Club included in the sprint demonstration will be on display in the Goyder Pavilion.

The Intercontinental Targa Night Stage is on Wednesday 22 August with racing starting at 6pm, gates open at 4.30pm.

Grab your ticket from www.targa.com.au, adults $10, children are free.
