Home Ground on the Torrens Riverbank officially opened today. We’re pretty sure the area’s ticked all the food and bar boxes!
With amazing views over the Torrens and Adelaide Oval and a kit out by the AMAZING guys over a Studio-Gram (responsible for Osteria Oggi, Mr Goodbar, and Motel Mexicola in Bali – just to name a few!) Home Ground features three new permanent venues: Goodbuns Diner, Sage Delicatessen and the Home Ground Bar. The new dining precinct also incorporates the well-established R Bar, known for its casual, seasonal menus and panoramic river views. Not stopping at permanent venues, there’s also two pop-up spaces, currently featuring a Gin & Spritz Bar (right up our alley!), presented by Adelaide Hills Distillery AND a pop-up Oyster Bar serving freshly shucked Smoky Bay oysters complemented by Adelaide Hills Sparkling. There’s even a a celebratory pop-up bar open from today to 6 December!
Home Ground will adopt special operating hours across its launch period and be open from 8am to late, 2 – 6 December. After this period, regular operating hours will be 8am – 8pm. For further information, visit the Home Ground website.
