Bambi & Dan at the Fashion Bunker launch in Adelaide
Sydney’s ‘IT’ couple Dan and Bambi – designer Dan Single and his wife, model Bambi – are one of Australia’s most fashionable and ambitious duos. They are passionate about great food, fine wine and travelling the world, so when they decided to put their name to a new rosé and find a winemaker to help realise their vision, they knocked on the door of Adelaide winery Bird in Hand.
As Dan and Bambi say; “We needed to find a partner that was the right fit across all elements. Not only do Bird in Hand share the same vision and aspiration of luxury, they are a family business, which we love. They have the technical know-how and a track record of producing very very good wines, some of the best in the world in fact!”
The result of this exciting collaboration is Pour Les Amour – a delicate, pale pink rosé. Combining pristine fruit from the Bird in Hand Adelaide Hills vineyards and their winemaking team’s reputation as Australia’s best rosé producer, the wine is representative of Dan and Bambi’s effervescent and international style.
Custom made and fully imported from France, the Pour Les Amour bottle is the only one of its kind in Australia. The ‘altus flute’ design features a unique glass stopper making the bottle reusable and Dan Single designed the label with help from close friend André Saraiva, an Australian born Paris based graffiti artist.
As an idea hatched on a global journey, Pour Les Amour will be launched this weekend in New York with friends and familia of Dan, Bambi and Bird in Hand.
Pour Les Amour is a strictly limited release, to be served in restaurants owned by friends of the couple in New York, Sydney and Melbourne. Outside of jumping on the waiting list to dine, the only other place you can sip the love is on the Bird in Hand website from September 1st.
