Adelaide Fashionistas, prepare yourselves for another fabulous installment from the gurus behind Fashion Concept. Together, Hue and Lily manage the ins and outs of all things local Adelaide fashion… from “Runway to Retail”, these two are definitely the girls to help you make things happen within the Adelaide fashion scene.
Earlier this year the girls brought us Fashion Concept, a very unique runway show which gave emerging designers a special opportunity to showcase their labels. After their very successful second show held back in August 2015, the girls then embarked on a very special collaboration with Renew Adelaide. It was a dream that grew from a promise to bring “Runway to Retail”, and so Fashion Concept Collective was born back in September 2015…
A collective retail space which showcases nothing but South Australian fashion labels. The retail opportunity offers a 2 month residency for emerging designers to test their pieces to a physical audience. A great opportunity for most who have only had online platforms previously. Well, it has indeed reached that stage of the cycle, and it is time for the girls to rotate the featured designers to help make way for some new additions.
As the Summer season has well and truly begun, they are very excited to have some perfect new labels on board and in store. From Jeans Corp, AlphaBe The Label, Zoe Elizabeth The Label and so many more, there will be something for all the fashionistas out there. Plus there are some amazing new label collections on show including Revoque – Black SS15/16, Harvey The Label SS15/16 Range, Katya Komarova – SS15/16 Accessory Range and more.
They will all be available for purchase from Saturday 19 December after an exclusive VIP launch on Friday night. A special list of local Adelaidians passionate about fashion and buying local, will get the chance to view and purchase the new stock in store.
