Celebrating outstanding emerging design talent from South Australia, the Emerging Designer Award focusing on South Australia’s reputation for great food, wine and dining experiences. The Award calls for innovative and exciting product design ideas to enhance the experience of consuming food and wine.
Entries may include furniture, menus, textiles and fashion (eg napery and waiting staff uniforms), glassware, tableware, utensils and lighting.
The $3,000 award is open to emerging designers anywhere in the world who have completed a design training or study program in South Australia in the last five years or who are currently completing one.
The 2014 judges will be designer Alexander Lotersztain, design writer Leanne Amodeo, JamFactory CEO Brian Parkes, and UniSA Program Director Andrew Wallace.
