Elizabeth Shopping Centre were able to donate $1000 to the charity on the day with the goal to donate a further $5000 by the end of the year which will change the lives of so many children living with serious illness.

This much money can go a long way and supports children and their families surviving cancer in the following ways:

• Car parking, home cleaning, grocery hampers and fuel cards to assist families enduring lengthy hospital stays
• The Little Heroes Art Therapy program which gives children an emotional outlet and escape from being in hospital
• Education and tuition support throughout recovery and rehabilitation

The day was a fantastic celebration of the community initiative between Elizabeth Shopping Centre and the Little Heroes Foundation – there was a record turn out at the centre as kids and families alike were invited to join in on super hero themed activities.

The highlight of the day was the local street artists’ who did a live street art demo where they painted the attached piece of art that will be donated to Little Heroes Foundation.

The street value is quite high and the work of art will be used for further fundraising for the foundation – another great community initiative!
