When you’re talking about the best voices in Australian music right now, Elizabeth Rose has been working exceptionally hard since her self-titled debut EP brough her into the public conscience in early 2014. She’s proven on numerous occasions that she’s got the goods to mix it with the best tourers in Australia, and it’s a real treat to see her returning to a smaller room in Adelaide to treat fans to tracks from her debut album ‘Intra’.
Her newest track from the record In 3’s comes off the back for four previous highly acclaimed singles. The singer has said of the new track. said on the single, “In 3’s is a very special track for me – it’s the only song on the album that reveals my spiritual side. From a young age I was strongly intuitive, having powerful dreams/visions and I still am to this day also a big believer of things happening for reason. I worked with Melbourne producers Damn Moroda on this track and with our powers combined out came In 3’s!”
Currently on her national ‘Intra’ album tour, Elizabeth has also decided to give to her fans some of her favourite records as she travels around the country, sharing her favourite album each day on her Facebook page recently. It was a nice insight that might lend itself back into her live show at Fat Controller this Saturday night, with special guests including Melbourne hip-hop artist Baro supporting on all dates, with Sydney based Adelaide expat Annie Bass returning to the stage in her home town once again. Speaking of voices, she’s got something else.
