To celebrate the launch of Spring Summer 2014, Elizabeth Shopping Centre is giving customers the chance to ‘style up for spring’ with their Style Your Way competition.
This innovative style competition will motivate shoppers to give their old style a fresh twist by embracing the arrival of new season fashion, and discover accessible style at the swipe of a finger.
Contestants are required to style a look showcasing their signature style by visiting Elizabeth’s website. Customers can select from images of beautiful new season clothing and accessories, provided by Elizabeth’s retailers, to style their way to spring.
Entries will be judged based on which ensembles are the most creative as competitors battle it out for the chance to win the coveted prize, an exclusive trip to the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival opening night and VIP party.
A panel of judges will have the arduous task of shortlisting the competition entries to a top 10. Once the finalists are selected, the competition will go to a public vote to determine the lucky winner.
Fashion never felt so good as Elizabeth will donate $1 for every vote cast to the Little Heroes Foundation.
Complementing the style competition will be Style Up Central, a chic in centre hub where customers can get one on one styling advice, take part in hair and makeup demonstrations, hear about the latest trends from the experts and win some ultra stylish prizes.
Style up Centre will house plenty of on trend fashion activations including styling advice, “how to create the perfect make-up base” and microdermabrasion demonstrations – just to name a few.
Style Up Central will also be used to inspire shoppers at Elizabeth to step up their spring style with the top ten looks from the Style Your Way competition going on display.
Style Up Central will also be home to Elizabeth’s spring accessories trade in where customers are invited to trade an old accessory for a $10 Elizabeth Shopping Centre gift card. All preloved accessories will be donated to the women at Northern Domestic Violence Services to help those who need it most.
Elizabeth have always been passionate about doing their part for the community and the accessories trade in is no exception as the shopping community gets behind those less fortunate in this fashionable display of community spirit.
