Does Your House Need A Colour Lift? Go Green This Winter!

When it comes to brightening up your winter blues, green is the way to go this WInter according to Adelaide styling guru Sarah Shanahan.

Winter has hit Adelaide in a big, wild, wet and windy way this week and that means bunkering down indoors and dreaming of summer days to come. While being stuck inside can be all snug and cosy, cabin fever doesn’t take long to kick in.

Indoor plants are making a huge comeback this year. They are so good for your senses and your well being, and look pretty fab too!  Plants add instant visual interest to any interior space, creating instant warmth and texture, which is exactly what we need in these cooler months.

There are so many fun ways to display your indoor greenery in your home,  think on trend geometric plant stands, available at both ends of the price range, designer pots, stylish baskets or as a lovely addition to your open shelving around the home. Just head to your local nursery and get started!

Here’s a few of my quick fix green solutions that will help you feel like summer… well, ok, Spring maybe, is just around the corner!
