Westfield has unveiled their newest campaign, and it’s a beauty. The Autumn/Winter 16 fashion campaign ‘Own Your Story’ inspires shoppers to embrace their individuality and express themselves through style.
Fronted by new Westfield Style Ambassadors Delta Goodrem and Yaya Deng, “Own Your Story” explores the role that fashion plays in their own personal journeys through two short films featuring both women giving advice to their younger self.
In two short films, ‘Own Your Story’ sees Delta and Yaya each share advice with their younger self on topics spanning fashion to self-confidence and career, based on lessons they’ve learned, told from their now adult perspective.
Showcasing a selection of this season’s key pieces, Delta wears Witchery, Ksubi, Kookai, Colette, Carla Zampatti and Swarovski in her film. Yaya wears Willow, Dion Lee, adidas and Jo Mercer.
Westfield Style Ambassador and singer songwriter Delta Goodrem says, “I’m thrilled to be named Westfield Style Ambassador for AW16. I loved the idea of writing a letter and giving advice to my younger self. I believe that every outfit tells a story and fashion is a way to show the world your individuality. Whether it’s geometric prints or sharp tailoring, this season, use fashion to tell a story – your story.”
Style Ambassador Yaya Deng adds, “I haven’t always loved the differences that make me unique, but now it’s what gives me the confidence to be fearless. For this reason I’m excited to work with Westfield on ‘Own Your Story’.”
