New high end tailoring service De Luca will introduce a comeback to the age-old craft and made to measure experience after officially launching its brand last week in Adelaide.
The Hon. Steven Marshall launched the new Adelaide brand at The Maid at an invite-only event last Thursday evening.
Adelaide based De Luca Designer Director Luke Schapel comes with years of experience in men’s tailoring. His passion and respect for the craft and skill involved in producing quality suits has influenced the concept of a high end European inspired label which delivers exceptional craftsmanship. In a global apparel market that is now dominated by mass production, there has been a steady move away from quality construction and attention to detail within the tailoring market.
‘Initially influenced by the sophistication of European men’s fashion, I have a great love and respect for the workmanship and the craft which has been handed down generation to generation over the history of men’s tailoring.
