David Jones is re-launching the iconic Adelaide Central Plaza Magic Cave just in time to coincide with this weekend’s Credit Union Christmas Pageant!
All of the Magic Cave favourites can be found, including the famous heritage horses Nipper and Nimble, and the vintage carousel taking centre stage under a sparkling midnight sky.
A new marionette animation shows Father Christmas’ elves getting all the gifts ready for Christmas, with giant funfair mirrors adding to the carnival theme.
Father Christmas himself will take up residence in the Magic Cave until Christmas Eve, where he will be available for photos and DVD footage. The experience is truly multichannel with customers treated to hidden 3D characters in the Magic Cave and in store when they download the David Jones Magic Santa App.
Customers can also enjoy food treats and a lucky dip from the candy shop.
