James Squire’s newest home in Adelaide; The Curious Squire, officially opened in December of last year, and has already proven to be a popular hotspot.
Open daily and located in the trendy North Adelaide precinct, the bespoke brew bar and restaurant carries the full range of James Squire craft beers and seasonal brews on tap, paired with an American inspired food menu.
Antony Tropeano; Owner of The Curious Squire and Managing Director of Tropcorp, believes the unique menu designed by Executive Chef Praveen Pall has been a big hit for The Curious Squire.
“Our menu is without a doubt diverse and unique. Standout items so far include the chancer onion rings, trio of sliders, BBQ chicken pizza, and deep fried oreos, with orders for these items in high demand. And with over 500 deep fried oreos selling per week, the fact that they are 350 calories doesn’t seem to be deterring their popularity in the slightest.
“Our entire menu offerings have been designed to align with the James Squire brand, and are reflective of the alternative and distinctive concept that is The Curious Squire,” says Antony Tropeano.
A favourite nightspot for weekend antics, Friday nights have seen large numbers burst through the doors for dinner and knock off drinks, with Sunday afternoons pulling in large crowds to experience the entertainment on offer.
“Weekends have proven to be very busy for us due to our laid back, casual, inimitable vibe. The Curious Squire provides a place for people to escape, sit back, and enjoy a beer with mates in our beer garden or restaurant, with all-day dining.
“We are thrilled with the progress it has made so far, and can see that our customers enjoy the relaxed atmosphere we are producing.
“We wanted to create a space that represents a great place to eat and socialise, and one that generates a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment,” says Antony.
