Ah crap…
Guys we have some bad news. Word on the street is that South Road will be closed indefinitely between Anzac Highway and Cross Road due to concerns over structural issues with the overpass after debris fell onto South Road. Reports are coming in that people have even spotted cracks in the concrete and leaning bollards.
This potentially means that the 35,000-45,000 of us that use this route every day are s-c-r-e-w-e-d. Traffic is already starting to build up, so we’d suggest start planning another way home.
Officials are currently inspecting the site to hopefully give us some sort of miracle/answers.
