Camp GallipoliAs Australia prepares itself for one of the most significant commemorations in our history, the centenary of ANZAC Day, Australians are prepping themselves to sleep under the stars and pay their respects to our forefathers with Camp Gallipoli.
In one of the largest commemorations of ANZAC Day, outside of visiting Turkey, schools, families and community groups will come together for a night of respectful remembrance, education and entertainment.
From the evening of the 24th to the dawn service on the 25th April, campers will experience a journey of emotion watching never-before-seen interviews with some of Australia’s last surviving War Veterans. Messages of courage will be shown from Australia’s Victoria Cross Recipients Ben Roberts-Smith VC, Daniel Keighran VC and Mark Donaldson VC before the RSL ANZAC Flame is light by a light horseman, representing the spiritual return of the 11,410 ANZACs who lost their lives at Gallipoli.
With plenty of tributes to our past, present and future servicemen, key highlights not to miss include:

•    Victoria Cross Recipients reflective video

•    Light horseman grand entrance and lighting of the ANZAC Cauldron

•    Live bugler playing the Last Post
•    The Dawn Service

•    Performances from Evermore, You Am I and Emily Williams

•    Choirs performing the Australian and New Zealand anthems, I Still Call Australia Home, Waltzing Matilda
and Amazing Grace

•    Campers laying poppies and wreaths in front of stage to commemorate our ANZACs
