Coopers Brews Two Major ALIA Awards

Coopers’ flagship beer, Coopers Original Pale Ale, has been named Australia’s Best Full-Strength Beer for the seventh time in eight years.

Coopers was also awarded Best Marketed Beer or Cider Brand at last night’s 21st annual Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) event, held at Sydney’s Luna Park.

The ALIA Awards honour the top performing brands, products, venues and retailers in the Australian liquor industry over the past 12 months.

Presented annually by Australian Hotelier, bars and clubs, National Liquor News and TheShout, the gala event attracts more than 700 members of the liquor and hospitality industry.

“It’s a true achievement for Coopers Original Pale Ale to once again be named Australia’s Best Full-Strength Beer,” said Coopers National Sales and Marketing Director Mr Cam Pearce.

“For Coopers to be recognised as Best Marketed Beer or Cider Brand against all other key categories in the industry is also a very pleasing result.

“Our ALIA Award wins are a result of the exceptional efforts of our team at Coopers – I congratulate and thank them all on a job well done.

“Coopers has strong heritage and we are proud of our products. It’s an honour to once again be acknowledged by our peers in the Australian liquor industry.”
