A first birthday is a momentous occasion. It’s a call for everyone to gather together for a massive celebration. Now, a baby’s first birthday might be a tad boring, but when it comes to celebrating the life of a stylish Adelaide bar, it’s far from a dull affair.
On Sunday, December 4th, Adelaide’s stylish and luxurious bar, Hennessy, at the Mayfair Hotel is celebrating its first birthday with drinks flowing and entertainment pumping from 3pm to 7pm. On the 13th floor and rooftop of the Mayfair Hotel sit back and enjoy the live entertainment while taking in the sweeping views of the city skyline with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, beer, or soft drink to toast the occasion.
It wouldn’t be a proper birthday without a signature birthday cocktail that packs a punch. Hennessy’s mixologists have created a drink fitting for their first birthday, a combination of gin infused with berries, citrus and lemongrass, Spanish vanilla liquor 43 and prosecco. What’s the divine concoction called? Well, it was sort of tricky to decide, so Hennessy called upon their Facebook friends, to bestow the name ‘The Colonial Society’. We’ll have one (or two) over here, thanks.
