Clipsal 500 Adelaide have unveiled their highly anticipated trackside outfits with members of the 2015 Grid Girl team stepping out in their new super sexy, fashion inspired uniforms created by celebrated South Australian designer, Liza Emanuele.The unveiling of the stylish new Grid Girl outfits follows exciting new announcement that the Ferrari Asia Pacific Challenge Series and Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks will line up on the 2015 grid for the first time ever.
After her stunning debut designing last year’s Grid Girl uniforms, the Adelaide-based fashion designer said it was important to get the creative mix right.
“This job is so exciting because there are so many elements to consider. I needed to relate to the target audience and stay true to fashion. This year I used high energy, fast fashion and rock’n’roll as my muse. Basically, I took inspiration from adrenaline pumping motor racing meets rock chic to create this year’s look and I love it!” she said.
“To have my designs on beautiful, healthy, happy girls who make up the Clipsal 500 Grid Girl Team – it’s a real honour and to have the opportunity to work with such a successful and iconic international sporting event that showcases our beautiful state – well that’s just the icing on the cake,” said Liza.
